Coach Higginbotham (Coach Ken)
This will be Coach Higginbotham’s 25th year of coaching, having split time between football and travel baseball. This is his first year as part of the Rockets program and as Jr. High head coach. Coach Higginbotham has spent most of his years coaching football at Logan Elm, Bishop Ready and in Iowa City, Iowa; and coaching baseball as part of the Hilliard Jaguars, Central Ohio Blackhawk and American Legion Post 757 programs.
A 1987 graduate of Logan Elm High School where he lettered in football, baseball and track, Coach Higginbotham is currently a junior at Ohio University studying secondary education. He and his family currently reside outside Laurelville.
Coach Rinehart
Coach Rinehart joins the Rocket football staff this season as the Jr. High defensive coordinator. Although he was a four-year varsity letter-winner at Franklin Heights in baseball and football his coaching career started with baseball. Coach Rinehart has spent seven years between Columbus West, Upper Arlington, Linden McKinley, and Franklin Heights.
Coach currently works for Franklin County, and he resides in Plain City with his wife Jessica and their children.
